FAQ's – TRAVELING WITH BONAVISTA ADVENTURE TOURS
We’re always happy to answer your questions, because part of making sure you have a great experience is giving you the information you need.
This is of course at your discretion. However, tipping is a feature of the tourist industry, and if you feel the Tour Guide has done a good job then it is appropriate.
You can make arrangements upon booking your tour to be picked up at your accommodation or to meet you at a prearranged location. At the end of your tour we will bring you back to your accommodation or drop you off at another prearranged location.
Please give us at least a 48-hour notice before your tour starts. The number of available spots on any tour are limited and we often have to send away interested guests, because there is no more space. By letting us know in time that you cannot make it, we can open up the extra spot to other interested guests. We also require 48 hours notice for a full refund or to reschedule.
Absolutely! All tours are available for fully customized premium private bookings with pick-up and drop-off. See and enjoy only what you want. For more information please call or email us.
Wear comfortable footwear and weather-appropriate clothing. Also bring a camera, as there will be plenty of photo opportunities. There also may be opportunities to purchases gifts or survivors so bring a small amount of money if you like.
We keep our group sizes small so you have the freedom to move around and get involved with your surroundings, as well as more personal attention from our local guides. This intimate size ensures that your group will not crowd your experience. You can expect up to 10-15 travelers on a tour.
We accept MasterCard, Visa, travelers checks, cash and e-transfer.
All prices are in CAD.

Reservations are required for guaranteed spots on all tours. Reservations help us determine the number of guides we need to ensure that our groups remain manageable and enjoyable, and they allow us to notify you of changes to the tour due to weather or anything that could disturb the tours. Walk-up guests for these tours will be permitted if space is available. However, we strongly suggest contacting us before walking up to a tour. Some tours include meals or snacks as indicated in our tour descriptions. You will be provided with delicious, healthy meals featuring fresh local ingredients. Travelers with special meal requirements or food allergies should advise us of any special dietary requirements when booking your tour and we will to do our best to cater to them.
